We would not need human soldiers anymore, but instead, combat robots would be sent to battles, so they would put their lives at risk instead of us. It sounds great, but there is a lot of work ahead. Testing modes indicate that robots are not able to make independent decisions in combat yet. This could be improved by constant training in a room with attacking drones.
